The Akai MPD32 comes with presets for many popular music production programs (e.g. Ableton Live, Propellerhead's Reason, Image Line's FL Studio, Steinberg Cubase, etc.) I use Reason 4.01 and FL Studio. Preset #2 is the preset you need to set in order to get the MPD32 working perfectly in Reason. Once that preset is selected, the MPD32 knobs and faders are easily assignable to manipulate Reason filters and effects.
